FAQs

Frequently asked questions about working with me.

What services do you offer?

I offer a full range of Tech VA services: web design and development, AI automation, email and workflow automation (using Make, Zapier, and n8n), social media management, content creation and repurposing, SEO setup, CRM management, and general tech support for business operations.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

I mainly work with coaches, consultants, real estate agents, service-based businesses, and solopreneurs who need tech systems and automation set up so they can focus on what they actually do — not the backend. Most of my clients are small to medium-sized businesses working online.

Do you specialise in automation?

Yes. Automation is one of my core services. I build custom workflows using Make (Integromat), Zapier, n8n, and Google Apps Script to automate repetitive tasks — lead follow-ups, appointment confirmations, email sequences, data syncing, social media posting, and more. If there is a manual process eating your time, I can likely automate it.

Can you build AI-powered systems for my business?

Yes. I work with AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to build practical AI-assisted workflows — content generation pipelines, AI chatbots, smart form responses, automated content repurposing, and more. I focus on AI that actually saves time, not AI for its own sake.

How much does a website cost?

I work exclusively with packages — not hourly rates. A standard website package starts at $350 and includes web design and web development. This covers most small business websites, landing pages, portfolio sites, and simple service pages. Complex websites — like a car dealership with dynamic pricing, real-time inventory, and custom filtering — start at $3,000 depending on scope and integrations required.

What is included in the $350 website package?

The $350 package includes web design and full web development for a standard business website. This typically covers up to 5 pages, a mobile-responsive layout, basic SEO setup (meta titles, descriptions, sitemap), contact form integration, and a staging review before launch. Additional pages, e-commerce features, or third-party integrations are scoped separately.

What counts as a complex website?

A complex website involves custom dynamic features that require significant backend work. Examples include: car dealership sites with real-time database inventory, custom vehicle filters with 30+ attributes, dynamic pricing systems, client portals, membership areas, e-commerce with custom logic, or multi-language sites with accessibility compliance requirements. These projects start at $3,000.

Do you offer maintenance after the website is built?

Yes — I offer a yearly retainer for ongoing maintenance. For standard websites, the yearly retainer starts at $150 and covers software updates, minor content changes, uptime monitoring, and basic tech support. For complex websites, the yearly retainer starts at $300 and includes more extensive maintenance, performance checks, and priority support.

Do you work hourly or by project?

I always work with packages, not hourly billing. Package pricing gives you clear expectations on cost and scope upfront — no surprise invoices. For ongoing VA retainer work (automation management, social media, content), I offer monthly retainer packages based on the hours and scope needed.

Are there payment plans available?

Yes. For larger projects I can split payments into milestones — typically 50% upfront and 50% on completion. For complex projects above $1,000, we can discuss a 3-stage payment structure. All payment details are outlined in the project agreement before we start.

How do I get started?

The easiest way is to message me on WhatsApp or book a discovery call via Calendly. I will ask a few questions about your business and what you need, then send you a project proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing. Once agreed, I send a simple contract and we kick things off.

What do you need from me before we start?

Depending on the project, I will need: your brand assets (logo, colours, fonts if you have them), any existing content or copy, access to relevant platforms (domain, hosting, social accounts), and a clear brief on your goals. I will send you a client intake form after the discovery call to gather everything in one go.

How long does a project take?

A standard website typically takes 1 to 3 weeks depending on content readiness and revision rounds. Automation setups range from 3 days to 2 weeks depending on complexity. Complex websites and larger systems can take 4 to 10 weeks. I give a realistic timeline in every project proposal and stick to it.

Do you offer revisions?

Yes. All website projects include 2 rounds of revisions at no extra charge. Automation builds include 1 round of testing and adjustments after delivery. Additional revision rounds outside the agreed scope are billed at a flat add-on rate outlined in your project proposal.

Do you work with clients outside the Philippines?

Yes — I work fully remote and with clients globally. I have worked with businesses in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, the Northern Mariana Islands, Brazil, and India. Communication happens via WhatsApp, email, Zoom, or whatever platform you prefer. Time zone differences are manageable with async updates.

How do we communicate during a project?

I keep things simple. Most communication happens over WhatsApp for quick updates and questions, with formal deliverables and documents shared via email or Notion. For larger projects I set up a shared project board so you can track progress at any time.

Can I hire you for just one task instead of a full package?

It depends on the task. For standalone automation builds, content batches, or specific tech setups, yes — I can scope a one-off mini project. For website work, I stick to packages since isolated tasks rarely give you a usable outcome on their own. Let us have a quick call and I will tell you honestly what makes sense.

What tools and platforms do you work with?

I work across a wide range: Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Apps Script (automation), ChatGPT, Claude (AI), Notion, Airtable, ClickUp, Trello (productivity), ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp (email), Calendly (scheduling), WordPress, Payload CMS, Next.js (web), Canva, Figma, Adobe Express (design), Buffer (social media), and Google Workspace for general business operations.

Can you manage my social media?

Yes. Social media management is part of my content VA services. I can handle content planning, writing captions, scheduling posts, creating graphics in Canva, and repurposing existing content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook). I focus on consistency and strategy, not just posting.

What is the difference between a Tech VA and a regular VA?

A regular VA handles admin tasks — inbox management, scheduling, data entry. A Tech VA goes further: I set up and manage the actual tech systems behind your business. That means building automation workflows, configuring CRMs, setting up websites, integrating tools, and making everything work together. Think of it as the difference between someone who answers your emails and someone who builds the system that sorts and responds to them automatically.

Can you help if I already have a developer or VA?

Yes. I can work alongside your existing team. I also offer standalone services — SEO, content repurposing, graphic design, video editing, and automation — that complement other developers or VAs rather than replacing them.
